Newsguard Censors, Funded by the Left, Run by the Left

Newsguard is a self appointed fact checker whose co-founder is tied to George Soros and his political influencing operation of so-called charities. Newsguard has a lot of power and is allied with the teacher’s union now. Teachers think their fact-checking is legitimate.

They are also backed by Big Pharma, Big Tech, and the government, and their staff is solely left-leaning activists. The government paid Newsguard over 700,000 dollars to censor.

Newsguard’s mission is to “counter misinformation on behalf of readers, brands, and democracies.” In other words, it guards the news by telling you what you can and cannot trust.

PragerU’s CEO Marissa Streit said that political and corporate elites empowered Newsguard to censor anyone who doesn’t comply with their agenda.

Newsguard wants to control the narrative on any and every topic, from climate change, COVID-19 treatments, and vaccines to elections, Planned Parenthood, and the World Economic Forum, just to name a few. Any outlet that does not conform to its agenda is targeted, blacklisted, and punished.

Perfect ratings are given to the New York Times and LA Times. CNN gets 80%, Democracy Now, a Soros-funded group, gets 75%; Mother Jones, another Soros group, gets 87.5%; and the Clinton-funded Media Matters gets 80%. Meanwhile, Prager U gets 57%, as does Fox News. Breitbart gets 49.5%, along with The Epoch Times. The Federalist gets 12.5%. If you know the publications, you know how biased these ratings are.

The Daily Wire and Sentinel are on the banned list.
